PATHWAYS: transported with agricultural plants and seeds with bird food seed mixtures.
POSSIBLE TO FIND: A
FLOWERING SEASON: July – October
HABITAT: especially ruderal sites, roadsides, fields and edges of fields. Locally also in sunny parts of lowland forests.
STATUS IN SLOVENIA: Common and widespread in lowland and hilly parts of Slovenia. Also found near bird feeding tables in gardens.
SIMILAR SPECIES: Common mugwort Artemisia vulgaris (native), perennial ragweed, Ambrosia psilostachya (alien).
